AIRPORT AND TRANSFERS
International flights all arrive in Belize City (BZE), and from there, you will make your way to the island of Ambergris Caye.
Ambergris Caye is located approximately 35 miles from Belize City, and is typically reached by catching a 15-minute commuter flight.
Once you’ve booked your international flights, our Reservation Office can assist you with arranging domestic flights.
Alternatively, you may take a water taxi from Belize City to Ambergris Caye. The boat ride is 1.5 hours. If you’d like to arrive by water taxi, please contact us and we can assist with schedules and pricing.
Victoria House is only a 10-minute drive from the San Pedro airport on Ambergris Caye. We are pleased to offer airport transfers for our guests to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.
For guests who book their domestic flights through our reservations office, the round trip ground transfer charge is included in the booking.
For guests who book their own domestic flights, round trip ground transfers can be arranged for $10 per person. If you do book your own domestic flights, please be sure to provide us with your arrival and departure times so that we can schedule your pickup from the San Pedro airport.
For guests traveling to Ambergris Caye by water taxi, we recommend taking a taxi to the resort. Taxis are readily available, please let Front Desk know if you would like one arranged. You may also contact Victoria House when you arrive and we can arrange to have a driver to meet you at the water taxi terminal.

The Victoria House has 42 luxury accommodations including 7 Casitas, six villas, 14 deluxe rooms, luxury suites and an oceanfront honeymoon suite all located on acres of lush tropical gardens. All rooms are spacious and airy with sitting areas, large bathrooms, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Each room offers gracious and tranquil views of the palm-lined beachfront and the Caribbean.

WATERSPORTS
Belize is one of the most superb scuba diving locations of the world. A living coral reef runs the entire length of the Caye, starting at the Yucatan and running through Central America. Reef dives range from beginner to expert levels with depths from 20ft to 150ft. Thousands of brightly colored tropical fish, Eagle Rays and many types of live coral are abundant, undisturbed and protected. FISHING
Fishing is also excellent; fly-fishing for Bonefish, Tarpon and Permit (all three are known as a “Grand Slam”) is enjoyed on the “Flats” and considered world class. Deep-sea fishing for Barracuda, Mahi-Mahi and Sailfish outside the reef is spectacular. These charters, local guides and all excursions can be arranged through the hotel activities desk and dive shop.
LA LUNA SPA
At 3,500-square feet., La Luna Spa is the largest of its kind on Ambergris Caye, Belize. The spa is set amongst coconut palms and bougainvillea, creating a place for relaxation, inspiration, and indulgence. The centerpiece of the facility is a 26-foot-high central Cupola, with 11-foot-high ceilings, hardwood floors and expansive windows that draw in natural light. The spa includes four treatment salons, including a couple’s salon. Three of the rooms feature French doors that open to a private, natural courtyard.

This palapa-style beach bar overlooks the Belize Barrier Reef and Caribbean Sea. Admiral Nelson’s offers a fun and laid back atmosphere, the ideal spot to kick back and enjoy tasty appetizers and an ice-cold beer or signature cocktail. There are a wide variety of board games available for guests.

Let our staff help create a magical night in the seclusion of our pier palapa or at your private table on the beach, lit with tiki torches under the sky. Our highly trained chefs at Palmilla Restaurant will prepare your choice of culinary delights from our dinner menu, making for a memorable evening. Private dining starts at $150 USD for parties up to 4, plus $35 USD for any additional guests, to a maximum of 8 in the palapa.
