David is a former Minister of Tourism for Bermuda, once served as president of the Bermuda Hotel Association and is a member of the Resort Committee of the American Hospitality & Lodging Association.
Once you book any room, Suite, Cottage or Club Condo here at the resort, all guests receive a complimentary “Rum Swizzle” local drink in your room upon arrival. They also enjoy complimentary access to kayaks and snorkel equipment on your private beach. Yes, guests can snorkel directly from our beach!!

We have luxury family designed cottages on property including 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, full kitchen amenity, Jacuzzi on the balcony and a private plunge pool. For a small family looking for high end accommodation, our 2 bedroom Club Condos includes private concierge service during their stay to tailor their visit. They will have in their condos 2.5 bathrooms,
2 bedrooms, a full kitchen amenity, a large living room and a Jacuzzi on their balcony.Every Monday, the management team hosts a Swizzle Party for all hotel guests with nibbles.
The Reefs is located on the bus route which can bring
you to all different parts of the island to explore. They
can hop on the Bermuda Pink Buses and live the true
local experience.Scooter and electric car rentals can be made directly on property with Oleander Cycle. If guests are curious and want to explore the island on their own, they can ask the front desk for the island map, best attractions to visit and go explore our beautiful island! The entire island of Bermuda is open to visitors.
TOP 5 Must Do’s at or around The Reefs resort
With only a 10 minute walk from the Reefs, you can visit one of the two Lighthouses in Bermuda, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. From the top of the lighthouse, guests can see all parishes and “J” shape of the island.
Horseshoe Bay and all popular south shore beaches are a 20 minute walk from the resort. Guests can go hiking beaches to beaches, stop for a swim and enjoy great local restaurants for lunch!
Golf is the most popular sport for visitors here in Bermuda. Our concierge team can make a tee time in our most popular golf courses around the island such as Mid-Ocean, Port-Royal, Tucker’s Point and Turtle Hill. Guests can rent golf clubs at those courses or bring their own!
Don’t miss the Thursday night Beach BBQ, typically May to the beginning of October! Savor mouthwatering, freshly grilled seafood, meats, and tropical sides while soaking in the stunning ocean views. As the sun sets, the beach comes alive with live entertainment. Whether you're here to relax by the bonfire after your meal or dance in the sand, it's the perfect way to enjoy paradise. Guests can charter the most beautiful catamarans and yachts for the day, or just a few hours which can be arranged through our concierge team, our preferred vendor is “Sail Bermuda.” They are able to accommodate a pick up close to The Reefs at nearby Rockaway, located a mere 10 minutes from the resort.

Perched on the cliffs of The Reefs, Solaris is more than a restaurant—it’s a destination. The expansive ocean views, warm sea breeze, and natural island beauty set the perfect backdrop for any occasion. Every meal is an opportunity to slow down, take it in, and enjoy the moment. Our menu blends classic European techniques with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each dish is crafted to deliver bold yet balanced flavours, offering a refined yet approachable dining experience. Solaris serves breakfast, brunch, and dinner for most of the year, with lunch available during the winter season from mid-December to the end of March.
Deposit & Cancellation
A 2 night deposit is required at the time of booking, including tax and gratuities. Guests have until 14 days prior to arrival to cancel and receive a refund. Cancellations as of 14 days prior to arrival results in the loss of the deposit.
